Job Summary
Our Alexandria, Pennsylvania plant is seeking to fill a Maintenance Technician position.

Responsibilities
- Trouble shoots machine breakdowns to determine cause.
- Installs repaired and / or new parts and adjusts machine to satisfactory performance levels.
- Assists with the installation of new equipment or the relocation of present equipment.
- Repairs and maintains plumbing system, including replacing pipe, faucets, valves, etc.
- Constructs, repairs or maintains equipment.
- Performs lathe, milling machine, and surface grinder work to required tolerances.
- Performs cement work.
- Sharpens tools and knives used in the manufacturing area as necessary.
- Performs all types of welding and cutting as required.
- Replaces parts and makes repairs accordingly to all material handling equipment, including repairs to contacts, fuses, points, plugs, relays, wheels, hydraulic lines, cylinders, etc.
- Designs, makes and repairs machine parts from a variety of materials to close tolerances.
Qualifications
Must have ability to design, make or repair machine parts, install parts, troubleshoot all equipment, and adjust production machinery to optimum performance. Mechanical aptitude test, and tests in Machining, Hydraulics, Welding, and Industrial Math are used for selection criteria. Must be available to work all three shifts. Minimum 3 years’ experience. Prefer experience in a manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
