Responsibilities
- Set up and operate fabrication equipment, such as saws, drills, and presses.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand fabrication requirements.
- Measure and cut materials to precise specifications.
- Assemble components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Inspect fabricated parts for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain and clean fabrication equipment.
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient product.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paperboard industry.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to perform the requirements of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
