Accountants One has been hired by a $15-20M distribution company in Norcross, looking for a Director of Accounting & Administration to join their team of 22 employees. This position will be the right-hand person to the President managing accounting and operations. (Finance, Accounting, HR, and Administration.)
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background from a similar company environment with good tenure. While this is a hands-on, one-person accounting department, they will have 3 direct reports including an admin to assist with invoicing and collections, plus 6 indirect reports. There is an opportunity to grow into a higher-level role within the organization!
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Accounting degree
- Ability to generate P&L, Balance Sheets, Journal Entries
- Experience with external CPA Firm
- Inventory management, counts experience
- Experience with software implementations
- Strong accounting background with good tenure
- Ability to wear multiple hats including HR, Administration
- Excellent communication skills
