Job Description:
The IT Coordinator is responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating all computer-related activities within the organization. Key responsibilities include:
General IT Support
• Serving as the primary contact for general IT needs, including email and address maintenance.
• Identifying and maintaining secure email options for directors and managers.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues within the organization.
• Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems in collaboration with third-party vendors.
• Managing and maintaining software licensing compliance.
• Overseeing technology operations and implementing IT policies to support the organization’s strategy.
• Providing direct support for telecommunications, audio/visual, recording, and live-streaming needs.
• Coordinating software and hardware installation and updates.
• Developing and managing the IT department budget.
Website IT Support
• Working with creative teams to develop and maintain a dynamic website with secure payment and donation options.
• Ensuring website compatibility across different browsers and mobile devices.
• Advising on best practices for website governance, accessibility, SEO, and analytics.
• Providing consultation to other departments in developing their own dynamic web presence.
• Analyzing website data and ensuring accurate tracking of online donations and their integration with financial systems.
Database Management
• Working with third-party vendors to maintain database accuracy and functionality.
• Developing queries for complex reporting requirements and assisting users in analyzing data.
• Overseeing modifications to database software to meet organizational needs.
• Providing training and support to staff on database usage.
• Monitoring database performance and resolving technical issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, database management, or website development.
