- Conduct monthly and year-end close followed by accurate and timely preparation of company and departmental financial statements (experience with consolidations a plus).
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of all accounting transactions, including, but not limited to, the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, etc.
- Review and develop internal financial controls to ensure the integrity of financial data, the protection of corporate assets, and the adherence to corporate policies.
- Oversees/performs job cost and profitability reports.
- Develop tools to assist department heads in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Assist in the analysis and interpretation of operating results and financial statement trends.
- Assist in the development, preparation and analysis ad-hoc and KPI reports.
- Assist in developing performance metrics to identify issues and opportunities within the organization.
- Assist managers with departmental financial reports, including actual vs. budget variance analysis.
- Assist with inventory analysis, internal controls and oversight.
- Drive continuous improvements for accounting-related processes.
- Participate and assist in the management of financial audits.
- BS or BA in Accounting.
- 5 years of public accounting and/or CPA preferred, with some private industry experience.
- Excellent communication skills, a proven track record of contributions to financial controls, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to allocate time and resources efficiently to ensure tasks/projects are completed accurately and timely, focusing on ever-shifting priorities. Self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
