The Admissions and Records Officer will report to the Dean of Students. The Admissions and Records Officer will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Admissions/Records Central Processing Center including but not limited to online admission application processing, college transcript evaluations, sending and receiving electronic transcripts, and scanning documents into imaging system.Salary: Appropriate placement on ACCS Salary Schedule: E3, Grade 04, $39,759 - $57,251 Work Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications and must submit a complete application packet through the on-line application system to be considered. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures and regulations associated with the Admissions and Records functions. 2. Utilize Student Information System (BANNER) and other administrative software. 3. Maintain current knowledge of application requirements and eligibility for Admissions. 4. Responsible for downloading electronic transcripts daily. 5. Responsible for evaluating transcripts for transfer credit in accordance with state and institutional guidelines. 6. Responsible for processing transcript requests and sending electronic transcripts. 7. Coordinate dissemination of procedures to obtain transcripts and issue transcripts. 8. Responsible for assisting with online application processing as needed. 9. Assist with applicant correspondence utilizing Target X CRM. 10. Assist with the maintenance of transfer equivalency tables in the Student Information System (BANNER). 11. Scan and index student documents into imaging system. 12. Maintain the security of student files in all formats. 13. Assist with processing student withdrawal forms. 14. Be familiar with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) ensuring college compliance with records security access. 15. Assist in processing enrollment and degree verifications. 16. Assist with resolving DAX system errors in a timely manner. 17. Process incoming and outgoing mail. 18. Implement sound records management strategies for the office. 19. Perform other tasks, as needed, to support and facilitate day-to-day operations of the Admissions/Records Central Processing Center. 20. Perform other essential functions as assigned by immediate supervisor.
