PRCO Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to join our team at the VA Medical Center in Omaha, NE. As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, as well as providing guidance and HR services to janitorial staff. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $27 to $29 per hour.
Shift Hours: 7:30AM-4:00PM
Job Overview:
As the Janitorial Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing Human Resources, Employee Relations, and Labor Relations services, acting as the liaison between Janitorial staff, VA Medical Center Staff and PRCO Services Management.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure staff are properly trained on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Verify janitorial staff are up to date on annual trainings and requirements
- Communicate with VA Medical Center staff to address any cleaning-related concerns or requests
- Provide HR services to janitorial staff, including addressing any performance issues or conflicts.
- Act as the point of contact for HAZMAT and Hazardous waste monitoring, ensuring floor staff are properly trained on how to handle hazardous material waste and containers.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree Preferred
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services preferably in a medical setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all employee relations, labor relations, and human resources matters for the janitorial staff at PRCO Services. You will serve as the main point of contact between the janitorial staff and management.
