What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior TM1 Consultant position at ACG?
Application Consulting Group (ACG) is a business analytics consulting firm focused on helping customers create methodical and predictable ways to improve business results and performance, across the organization.
Due to the continuing growth of our IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) systems implementation practice, we are currently hiring full time Senior Consultants (Hybrid and Remote) in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of new budgeting and planning applications, upgrading systems to new versions and/or cloud platforms, and implementing functional enhancements to existing applications.
The Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of solid hands on TM1 application development experience writing TI scripts, creating rules and developing reports in PAX or perspectives. Analytical problem solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are a must. In addition, strong financial business analysis skills are required for the development of financial reports within a multi-dimensional budgeting and planning database system environment.
The following are a plus: modeling in other multi-dimensional database technologies (i.e. Essbase), experience in other finance systems, and experience in the IBM Planning Analytics cloud environment.
A Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required. Masters degree preferred.
