Responsibilities
· Provide direct support and care to individuals with diverse needs
· Assist individuals with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing and eating
· Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
· Foster a positive and nurturing environment for individuals to thrive in
· Implement individualized care plans and goals
· Assist individuals with medication management, as needed
· Support individuals in participating in community activities and outings
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Previous experience working in a similar role preferred
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
· Patience and empathy towards individuals with diverse needs
· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
