About the Role:
We are a trusted healthcare staffing agency partnering with a top-rated medical facility in Vermont. We are seeking a Sonography Supervisor to join a leading healthcare team in Burlington, VT. This role involves performing complex and highly technical ultrasound procedures independently, ensuring high-quality imaging services, and leading a skilled team. Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine, complex, and highly technical diagnostic ultrasound procedures using non-ionizing, high-frequency ultrasonic waves.
- Work independently and apply sound judgment in diagnostic sonography tasks to support the Radiology Department.
- Collaborate closely with the Radiology Director, Manager, Radiologist, and Ultrasound Supervisor to maintain the highest imaging standards.
- Specialize in vascular, OB, and small parts imaging to provide comprehensive patient diagnostics.
- Lead and mentor the Sonography team, ensuring compliance with department standards and fostering professional growth.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an approved CAHEA/JRCT school of Radiologic Technology or a two-year allied health equivalent program.
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) certification is required; ARRT certification is preferred.
- Open to new graduates who are ARDMS license-eligible.
- 2-3 years of sonography experience preferred, with vascular, OB, and small parts imaging experience highly desirable.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM.
- Rotating on-call weekends every 5th weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and holidays) from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
