Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager/Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager/Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in mechanical/HVACR projects, with the ability to prepare estimates, budgets, and project specifications. The role involves designing engineered solutions, managing field activities, and communicating effectively with clients and coworkers. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Making plans using detailed drawings
• Preparing estimates and budgets
• Creating accurate project specifications
• Designing engineered solutions for mechanical/HVACR clients
• Creating technical reports for customers
• Completing regulatory documents concerning safety issues
• Communicating with clients and coworkers about results
• Communicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues
• Manage field activities and implement engineering designs
• Diagnose construction or maintenance problems specifically as they concern HVACR
• Oversee repairs and technical improvements
• Install new systems and technology

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in any Engineering Discipline (preferably Industrial or Architectural)
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Effective presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of OSHA, building codes, and relevant regulations
• Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
• Ability to manage projects of varying sizes and scopes
• Positive and professional communication skills
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Proficiency with construction software applications

Work Environment

The role is based in a brand new building featuring ample natural light, spacious personal offices, break rooms on every floor, and a balcony and patio under construction for BBQ areas for staff. The work environment is supportive, collaborative, and focused on professional growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $102000.00/hr.
