PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION
This position prepares cost estimates by analyzing requests for proposals (RFPs). The estimator calculates the value of material and work to be performed and submits this detailed packet to customers. Klute submits thousands of unique proposals every year, with a variety of customers and requirements, critical thinking is essential to complete each one. Working within the estimator team, the process allows individuals to grow to create increasingly more complex bids and tackle expanded responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education : Degree in higher education in a construction related field, preferred but not required.
Experience : Previous work experience is preferred but not required.
