DESCRIPTION:

The QC Chemist will conduct chemical, physical, and performance testing to support the chemical manufacturing process. This role involves analyzing raw materials, in-process materials, and finished product samples to ensure compliance with quality standards. Entry-level science graduates with a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a Minor in Chemistry are excellent fits for this position, as the responsibilities align closely with the skills gained through these academic programs. The QC Chemist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of the manufacturing process.

This position is ideal for new graduates who are eager to apply their academic experience in a hands-on, impactful role within a manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Conduct chemical, physical, and performance testing according to established policies and procedures.
• Analyze raw materials, in-process materials, and finished product samples.
• Perform data entry and generate and file records.
• Set up laboratory equipment and perform calibrations.
• Recommend and initiate corrective actions for lab and product non-conformance.
• Support safety, quality, 5S, ISO, GMP, and housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Actively contribute to continuous quality, environmental, and safety improvement processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Zero years of work experience required for candidates with a 4-year Chemistry degree.
• 2 years minimum QC work experience required for candidates with a 4-year Associated Science degree.
• 4 years minimum QC work experience required for candidates with a 2-year chemistry or equivalent degree

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00
