Quality Engineer
This QE position will be customer facing (Ford) to help support and resolve quality issues that may arise. A customer will send back a bad part or report an issue. The QE will be responsible for communicating issue to team and helping to resolve the problem. This may involve PPAP's, containment and scheduling sorting activities, as well as writing detailed reports on analysis and other corrective actions. Also may require going on floor to look at process with team to help troubleshoot and determine cause of defects and provide resolution. Will involve direct customer communication (written and verbal).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
- strong troubleshooting
- excellent customer service skills (written and verbal communication)
It's a plus if you have:
- Experience in automotive quality
- Ford or other OEM auto quality experience
- A general working knowledge of automotive or industrial manufacturing (AIAG, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, 8D).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
