What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Supervisor position at Actalent?
Description
- Lead a team of QA inspectors to perform quality gate inspections on coaches, covering all stages from car shell welding to finishing and final assembly.
- Coordinate inspections with production teams and customer resident inspectors.
- Serve as the escalation point of contact for production quality issues.
- Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of the quality component of the Integrated Management System, in alignment with the quality strategy and local regulations.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation, including inspection reports, quality metrics, and corrective action plans.
- Conduct regular training sessions for QA inspectors to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest quality standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to identify and suggest process enhancements.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
