Quality Supervisor Essential Functions
- Analyzes, evaluates, and presents information concerning performance of the Quality System to management.
- Directs multi-disciplinary teams for product quality planning, corrective action, and continuous improvement activities.
- Determines personnel and resource needs for quality assurance program.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned.
- Proven experience 6-10 years in quality
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions quickly.
- Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables at the same time.
- Ability to analyze and interpret standards, procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to effectively present written and verbal information to management, customers, subcontractors, and employees.
- Ability to write procedures, reports, and correspondence.
- Ability to understand production processes and their effect on product quality.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, design of experiments.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics to practical quality control situations.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Frequently required lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds.
- Frequently required standing, bending, squatting, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods, walk, talk, and hear.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to read applicable instructions.
