Job Title : Quality Supervisor
Location : Mebane, NC

Pay : $75,000 - $80,000 per year
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Position Overview :
We are looking for an experienced and driven Quality Supervisor to lead and elevate our quality control operations within our plastic injection molding processes. As a key leader, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality, enhancing production efficiency, and fostering a culture of excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership skills to continuously improve processes and ensure exceptional product quality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop & Implement Quality Control Systems : Design and implement effective quality control processes that align with industry standards and are specifically tailored to plastic injection molding operations. Ensure product consistency and adherence to quality specifications.
- Proactive Process Monitoring : Continuously monitor production processes to identify and resolve potential quality issues before they affect output. Implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain high-quality production standards.
- Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving : Lead investigations into quality-related issues such as customer complaints, non-conformances, and defects. Use data-driven methods (e.g., root cause analysis) to identify underlying problems and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI) : Collaborate with cross-functional teams—design, engineering, and production—to integrate quality measures early in the product development lifecycle and ensure smooth transition to full-scale production.
- Monitor & Report Quality Metrics : Regularly prepare and present reports on quality performance, analyzing key metrics and trends. Identify areas for improvement and make actionable recommendations that drive continuous improvement in quality.
- Supplier Quality Management : Lead the resolution of Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs). Work closely with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet the required quality standards and contribute to the overall product quality.
- Document Control & Compliance : Maintain rigorous document control procedures, ensuring that Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and other required documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry and customer standards.
- Leadership & Team Development : Lead, mentor, and motivate the quality control team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance. Provide ongoing training to elevate team capabilities and ensure they are equipped to meet evolving quality standards.
