What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer position at Actalent?
Job Description:
- Conduct structural analysis using software tools and hand calculations.
- Design structural elements such as beams, columns, foundations, and connections of moderate complexity.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and construction teams and project stakeholders.
- Assists a team leader in structural inspections and assessments.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
- Ensure the quality of structural engineering deliverables.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred but not required.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
- Experience with AASHTO
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
