Job Title: Telehealth Nurse

Job Description

Counsel and educate new and existing patients on specialty drug therapies via phone. Adhere to contracted and accrediting regulations as indicated by drug specifications. Complete thorough and accurate documentation utilizing good documentation practices and compliance with industry standards and regulations using EMR. Discuss potential and current side effects with patients to educate about treatment alternatives and facilitate ongoing therapy adherence. Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to the manufacturer, FDA, and/or other governing authorities.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and educate new and existing patients on specialty drug therapies via phone.

Essential Skills

• Telehealth experience
• Acute care experience
• Registered Nurse with current unrestricted multi-state compact state license
• Oncology and/or Hematology experience preferred
• 4 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of acute inpatient care preferred
• Strong computer skills, including email, word processing, spreadsheet, and web-based programs
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Experience with motivational interviewing
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret practice standards, professional journals, technical procedures, and government standards and regulations

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Onsite training with a hybrid work environment requiring in-office presence once a month. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $40.00/hr.
