An international automotive component manufacturer in the Farmington Hills, MI area is looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager responsible for overseeing the company's network, server and security systems. This is a full time, and direct hire position with a provided benefits package.
IT Infrastructure Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage IT infrastructure team
- Maintain the company's IT infrastructure systems
- Manage IT projects, including budgets, timelines and business processes
- Ensure IT security requirements are being met
- Manage and improve backup systems
- Maintain system documentation
IT Infrastructure Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business
- At least 5 years of experience in System administration
- At least 5 years of experience with virtualization (VMWare)
- At least 5 years of experience with storage technologies
- At least 5 years of experience managing an IT department and personnel
- Ability to travel up to 50 percent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills
- While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 15 pounds, lift in excess of 15 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
