Manufacturing Engineer - Automotive Parts Manufacturer (35112)

An automotive parts supplier by the Pendleton, IN is in need of a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for the development of engineering processes related to CNC machining operations. This position will be testing equipment, maintaining CNC programs associated with the turning manufacturing processes, planning tooling requirements for production and troubleshooting CNC machining.

This is a full-time, direct-hire position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K and paid vacation.

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

• Implement engineering processes related to CNC production machining.
• Maintain and update CNC programs
• Analyze workflow, layout of equipment
• Specify tooling requirements for production
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines
• Test and evaluate equipment
• Act as Technical Lead to Engineering Technicians
• Install initial start-up of equipment
• Interact with vendors to determine appropriate specifications and purchase equipment
• Other duties as assigned by management

Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or an equivalent experience
• 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience
• 3 years of CNC equipment experience preferred
• Experience with CAD software and knowledge of machine G&M code
• Fanuc experience a huge plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Automotive manufacturing experience ideal
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Previous automotive manufacturing experience a big plus
