A food manufacturer is seeking a Bilingual Japanese / English Sales Assistant to join their team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This position is responsible for supporting the order process from customers to product shipment. HS diploma or higher, 1 year of experience in order management at a food manufacturer or a similar role, experience in customer support, sales administration, or related fields, basic PC skills (excel, data entry, scanner operation, etc), and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese are required. This is a full-time, non-exempt, in-person position with excellent benefits and 401k. [Work Schedule : Mon-Fri, 8 : 30-5 : 30 - Overtime]Bilingual Japanese / English Sales Assistant Duties : -Input customer orders into the ERP system (including manufacturing orders to the factory).-Confirm the expected shipment date and notify the customer.-Track the progress of each order and communicate with the customer as needed.-Confirm shipment and notify accounting.-Respond to inquiries from customers or potential new customers.-Check inventory of company-branded products and update information.-Analyze customer ordering patterns and send reorder notifications to customers.-Collect sample products and send them to customers.-Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor when needed Bilingual Japanese / English Sales Assistant Skills : -Must have a HS diploma or higher-Must have 1 year of experience in order management at a food manufacturer or a similar role-Must have experience in customer support, sales administration, or related fields-Must have basic PC skills (excel, data entry, scanner operation, etc)-Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese- Teamwork and communication skills (coordination with customers, sales, and production departments).______________________________________________________________________________
