Position: Accounting Manager
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations for our company, its affiliates, and real estate projects. As the primary contact for accounts payable and receivable, you'll handle financial transactions with clients and internal teams. Experience in real estate development is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including:
- Processing and paying invoices
- Billing clients
- Paying corporate bills
- Handling employee expense reports and reimbursements
- Facilitating third-party audits
- Preparing annual budgets
- Processing payroll
- Oversee project-level accounting tasks, such as:
- Preparing monthly draw packages
- Maintaining lien releases and insurance requirements
- Preparing project cash flows
- Reviewing and confirming cost codes for invoices
- Collaborating with project managers on monthly projections
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
Salary & Special Requirements:
- Annual compensation: $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience
- 401K and health benefits after 90 days
- Position based in St. George, Utah; office attendance required part-time
- Remote work is possible for up to 90 days if relocating
- Relocation allowance negotiable if located outside of Southern Utah
