We are currently hiring for a Clinical Director to join our team and provide counseling services. The Clinical Director is a critical part of our counseling team and will aid in ensuring that our clients needs are met in a safe and effective way.
As a newer agency we are looking to onboard a part-time Licensed Social Worker with the potential for this position to become full-time in the future.

Clinical Director’s job description:
The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the organization's providers and will monitor the use of effective service methods and progression for agency clients. Personnel in this role will be responsible for supervising the work of the other providers. The Clinical Director will review client reports on a quarterly basis to evaluate service methods and their impact on client progression. This person will be responsible for signing off on client notes from the providers (QMHSs, LSWs, and LPCs, etc.). The Clinical Director will provide mental health therapy services only as necessary (last resort), complete patient notes, and conduct diagnostic assessments/screenings.
The Clinical Director will regularly meet with providers to ensure effective communication and collaboration. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.
The Clinical Director is responsible for:
· Reviewing and provide feedback on clients reports on a quarterly basis to evaluate service methods and their impact on client progression
· Reviewing and signing off on client notes submitted by providers on a weekly basis to ensure successful insurance billing
· Supervising the work of the providers under their supervision
· Monitor the use of the use of effective service methods and progression of the agency
· Regularly meeting with the providers under their supervision to ensure effective communication and collaboration
· Aid in maintaining the agency's compliance with state and accreditation requirements
Clinical Director requirements and qualifications:
· Master’s Degree
· Licensed in the state of Ohio as a LISW-S, LPCC-S, or as a Psychiatrist
· Five – Seven years of experience in the field of social work /social services
· Three – Five years of providing supervision to other providers.
· In-depth knowledge of mental health terms and methods of practice
· Experience working with clients struggling with mental health, substance abuse, and/or behavioral issues
· Outstanding organizational and time management skills
· An understanding of emotional intelligence and empathy
· Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills
· Excellent computer skills along with the ability to learn new skills and/or program
· Maintain a current and valid Ohio or Michigan driver’s license, a good driving record, adequate insurance, and be willing to use a personal car to perform job duties.
· Basic computer skills.
· Successfully completion of all required criminal background check and drug test
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Standing - Maintaining an upright position on the feet
2. Pushing - Applying pressure and exerting force against an object for the purpose of moving it forward or away from the source of the force – push or pull force up to 35 lbs.
3. Lifting - Raising an object from a lower to a higher position, or moving an object laterally, from position to position. May be required to lift over 50lbs with assistance of another person or a mechanical lift.
4. Stooping - Bending the body forward and down from the waist, hips and knees, sometimes for a prolonged length of time.
5. Reaching - Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction away from the body
6. Balancing - Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or moving surfaces
7. Ability to safely operate a personal motor vehicle on a weekly basis and comply with the Company’s Vehicle Safety Program
