Summary
Responsibility for all general accounting functions – monthly accounting period close, monthly inventory analysis and reporting, general ledger, budgeting, cash flow analysis and cash disbursements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for the following functions:
- Monthly account and bank reconciliations
- Monthly budgets vs. actual operating expenses, including department budgets
- Maintain Annual Budget Models and Annual Cash Flows Model
- Fixed asset accounting including monthly depreciation adjustments
- Inventory and Job Cost Analysis
- General Ledger entry of weekly payroll expenses
- Process weekly cash disbursements
- Assist in the year end closing process and interface with external accounting firm
- Special projects as necessary
- When required provide manual checks; process manual checks through the system on a weekly basis.
- Assist with the management of the Company’s Record Retention program and perform audits as required.
- Interface with external auditors for annual audit of financial statements as directed by CFO.
- Effectively perform account receivable duties including but not limited to collecting payment on past due accounts.
- Use tax analysis and yearly census filing as needed
- Perform other related duties as required.

- Interface with Auditors and provide internal auditing of financial statements as directed by CFO
- Performance standard account receivable and account payable functions
- Assist with proper Company Record Retention
- Other duties as assigned by CEO/CFO

Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelors’ degree in accounting or equivalent combination education and experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of Financial Modeling & Analysis utilizing windows based computer programs is necessary to perform the duties in this position.
The employee must possess the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form.
