About Us
Ada County Highway District is committed to ensuring that all public infrastructure projects are accessible to everyone. We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Inspector to join our team in Development Services.
As an Accessibility Inspector, you will conduct investigations and inspections of temporary traffic control measures and permanent pedestrian facilities to ensure accessibility by individuals with disabilities. You will also be responsible for coordinating ADA compliance and accommodation programs related to accessibility and work within the public right-of-way.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations and inspections of temporary traffic control measures and permanent pedestrian facilities to ensure accessibility by individuals with disabilities.
- Coordinate ADA compliance and accommodation programs related to accessibility and work within the public right-of-way.
- Must have considerable knowledge of ADA laws and regulations, as well as the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
