Job Overview
Ada County Highway District is seeking an experienced Accessibility Inspector to join our team in Development Services. This full-time, non-exempt position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25.10-$28.90 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
- The Accessibility Inspector conducts thorough investigations and inspections of temporary traffic control measures and permanent pedestrian facilities to ensure accessibility by individuals with disabilities.
- The incumbent will have considerable knowledge of ADA laws and regulations, as well as the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), and will be responsible for coordinating ADA compliance and accommodation programs related to accessibility and work within the public right-of-way.
Qualifications
- Requires extensive knowledge of ADA laws and regulations, MUTCD, and construction practices and procedures.
- Must possess a valid Idaho driver's license and be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Preferred qualifications include ATSSA Traffic Control Technician & Traffic Control Supervisor certification and flagger certification within 12 months of employment.
- Must have good experience with computer programs, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
