Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual who has experience working with the aging population and exhibits effective communication skills. This position is responsible for directing ACOFA's in-home services programs. The In-Home Service Director reports to the Executive Director.
Duties
- Responsible for directing ACOFA's in home services programs including Adult Day Care, Care Management, Caregiver Support Program, Options and Protective Services.
- Supervises and trains care managers, care management aide, protective service worker, over sees the Protective Service Supervisor and CSP Supervisor.
- Holds weekly care management meetings
- Plans, implements, coordinates, evaluates agency's in-home services.
- Forms working relationships with outside providers.
- Performs care management duties as needed.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and implement improvements as necessary.
Schedule
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services, social sciences, gerontology, or other appropriate field.
- Five years of experience in public or private social work or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Knowledge of casework principles and methods.
- Familiarity with the rules and regulations under the Older Americans Act (OAA) and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging (PDA) programs.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients, outside agencies and institutions.
- Ability to evaluate work of subordinates and to provide technical assistance and guidance

Salary : $64,500 - $72,000
