Adams & Martin Group is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill a legal support position in a plaintiffs' law firm located in downtown St. Louis. This is a direct hire position.
This position includes working directly with the Firm's Asbestos Team. A successful candidate possesses strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to high level of detail; service-oriented professionalism; ability to follow complex and detailed instructions; and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience working in plaintiff's asbestos practice strongly desired. Legal Assistants and Paralegals encouraged to apply.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare technical legal documents, including affidavits, memoranda, claims filing materials, and client correspondence;
- receive feedback and final review from team attorneys;
- Prepare and submit detailed claim submission materials related to asbestos claims against insolvent companies;
- Investigate claims and maintain client files;
- Sort, refine, filter and summarize data, primarily using Excel;
- Frequent and routine professional client communication to ensure accurate case updates;
- Collaborate effectively with team attorneys and paralegal managers.
Required Skills, Abilities:
- Prior legal experience preferred; prior or current experience in Plaintiff asbestos practice strongly desired;
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills;
- Independent ability to self-start and manage assigned tasks with little supervision; ability to be proactive and take initiative;
- Strong critical thinking and a natural curiosity for problem-solving;
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, along with a natural desire to help people.
Compensation: $40K to $55K DOE

Salary : $40,000 - $55,000
