Job Description:
This is a direct hire opportunity with a focus on regulatory compliance and Medicaid-related oversight. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining compliance across all levels of home care operations, collaborating directly with leadership, and supporting organizational goals through proactive risk identification and mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead the company’s compliance program to meet all state and federal healthcare regulations
- Conduct routine audits and assessments to ensure adherence to Medicaid and regulatory standards
- Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective action plans
- Act as liaison during inspections and manage documentation required for audits
- Train internal teams on compliance policies, processes, and updates
- Keep current with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in home health care
- Analyze data and prepare reports for leadership on compliance performance and risk areas
- Partner with program directors to implement improvements based on findings from recent surveys
- Create and maintain clear documentation and compliance-focused presentations using Microsoft Office tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, or Medicaid oversight
- Deep understanding of local, state, and federal home health care regulations
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; must be data-driven and solutions-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting findings to leadership
- Familiar with systems such as AccessCare, AXISCare, and ideally transitioning to Aloura
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
Preferred Certifications (Not Required):
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
- Certified Nurse Manager (CNM)
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Onsite role | Free parking available
- Business casual dress code (jeans on Fridays!)
- Reports directly to the COO and CEO
- Candidate must be comfortable performing occasional site visits for compliance oversight
- Flu vaccine required due to home care field responsibilities
