Job Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a hands-on Compliance Specialist to join our high-growth, fast-paced veterinary company. The chosen candidate will be a team player and will assist with the following duties:
- Research multi state, city and county regulatory and licensing requirements for pending acquisitions
- Complete applications/documentation necessary to gain/maintain compliance at each location
- Set up and manage of sales and use tax accounts for each state
- Proactively monitor all compliance filings and renewals; ensuring deadlines are not missed
- Maintain all documentation related to compliance filings including letters, business licenses, trade name licenses, premises licenses, etc.
- Work closely with integrations and vendor transitions teams to ensure the partnership goes smoothly
- Collaborate with clinics and key stakeholders in resolving and communicating questions and resolutions that come up as part of the acquisition
- Create and maintain documentation to ensure key compliance processes are easily accessible for future reference
- Experience with contracts and/or compliance documents
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with multistate sales tax and other compliance-related processes is strongly preferred
- Critical thinking and not afraid to dive deep into the details and solve problems
- Excellent organization and strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Must be a confident communicator who collaborates effectively across the organization to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy
- High level of internal and external customer service
- Can work autonomously and in a team capacity and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Local to the greater Denver area

Salary : $61,500 - $64,000
