Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our client’s dynamic HR team. This role focuses on providing both strategic and tactical HR support across the organization. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to leadership and help drive key initiatives including organizational development, employee relations, compliance, and cultural transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and coach leadership on people strategies, employee relations, and workforce planning
- Partner on policy development, compliance practices, and handbook updates across multiple states
- Lead employee relations investigations and support performance and disciplinary actions
- Collaborate on HR programs related to M&A integrations, talent planning, and job leveling
- Deliver on key HR processes including onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement
- Provide data-driven insights through exit interviews, surveys, and audit reporting
- Support compliance with state and federal employment laws (NY, CA, IL, CO, etc.)
- Drive organizational change management and communicate initiatives effectively across all levels
Qualifications:
- 5 years total HR experience, including 1-3 years in an HRBP role
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Multi-state HR experience is required
- M&A integration experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of HR systems—experience with ADP (Lyric), UKG, Kronos, or Paycor is ideal
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification strongly preferred
- Strong communication and change management skills
