Payroll Analyst - Denver, CO (Hybrid, in-office)
Salary : $65,000-75,000 annually
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate journal entries, payroll accruals, and monthly reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll-related laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices are compliant.
- Provide payroll reports to management and handle reporting requests from internal teams and external agencies.
- File quarterly payroll tax filings in SAP.
- Collaborate with plant personnel to verify timecard approvals, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and union regulations.
- Investigate payroll-related inquiries from employees, resolving discrepancies related to direct deposits and timecards.
- Collaborate with external payroll vendors to resolve system issues, implement updates, and support process transitions effectively.
- Ensure accurate off-cycle payments in compliance with state regulations for terminations or adjustments.
- Maintain and test UKG timekeeping systems, troubleshoot errors, and implement necessary upgrades.
