Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Summary:
The Payroll Analyst position reports to the General Accounting Manager and will provide the ideal candidate the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to work in a fast-paced environment with responsibility for payroll operations and general accounting duties.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll utilizing ADP utilizing Workforce Now Total Source for exempt & non-exempt employees including wage assignments and other deductions.
- Administer the electronic timekeeping and attendance system; review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets; prepare daily balancing and posting of Union & Non-Union shop employee labor; answer employee questions and troubleshoot issues.
- Prepare & send daily billing for units and parts sold.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and related general ledger account reconciliations.
- Compile internal management reports.
- Perform internal control process reviews as assigned by accounting department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Prior payroll processing (ADP)
- Solid understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience using ADP for payroll processing.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word)
- Outstanding written, verbal, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills required with the ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks and changing priorities while meeting non-negotiable deadlines
- Analytical capabilities and attention to detail with a “big picture” focus
