- Schedule :
- Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Responsibilities of the Medical Biller :
Responsible for general aspects of billing and payment collection.
Process claims and handle clearing house rejections.
Resolve denial instances.
Post charges.
Post payments.
Monitor accounts receivable.
Work with insurance companies on disputed claims and processing issues.
Edit tracking spreadsheets.
Interact virtually with clients on billing and payment matters.
Assist with incoming mail.
Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion.
Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as necessary.
Ability to work independently with a sense of personal ownership and ability to get things done as well as work as part of a team.
2 years minimum of experience in accounts receivable field.
Medical Billing experience preferred.
Valid NYS Drivers License
Creative problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel skills.
Strong aptitude for written and verbal customer service.
