Job Overview
Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager - Production Specialist to oversee the production of company products at our Freeburg, IL facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and schedule work assignments to ensure efficient production while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements.
- Plan production schedules, review component parts, and sub-assembly availability to optimize build schedules.
- Collaborate with purchasing to address parts shortages and adjust schedules as needed.
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees to ensure they possess the necessary skills to meet company standards.
- Participate in planning meetings to recommend space, personnel, and equipment requirements.
- Ensure adherence to operating procedures and requirements, driving continuous improvement through waste identification and elimination.
- Evaluate processes and methods, recommending measures to improve production efficiency, equipment utilization, and product quality.
- Serve as a technical resource to resolve inquiries and problems, analyzing and resolving work issues using systematic problem-solving tools.
Requirements:
- Two or more years of related experience, preferably in sheet metal and/or warehousing.
- Union experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays on a rotating basis.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP knowledge.
Compensation: $38.46 per hour
