RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the Adelante Mujeres Education team, the Chicas Program Coordinator designs and implements best practices, policies, and procedures that foster an employee-oriented, community-centered, and culturally responsive environment. This role involves collaborating across the Chicas Youth Development Program, supporting strategic planning, overseeing daily operations, ensuring policy adherence, and cultivating a productive team culture. This role ensures the accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of data to evaluate and enhance The Chicas Youth Development Program's impact. The Chicas Program Coordinator promotes youth safety, growth, and leadership. The Chicas Program Coordinator reports to the Chicas Program Manager.

  • Supports implementing the strategic vision, oversight of day-to-day program operations, and executing program policies and procedures.
  • Ensures the delivery of culturally responsive programing that produces measurable results across three school districts in Washington County.
  • Collaborates across Adelante Mujeres to gather comprehensive qualitative and quantitative program data and craft grant reports that effectively capture and communicate the impact and outcomes, challenges, and successes of the program.
  • Leads the coordination and implementation of specific Chicas' initiatives such as Journey to College.
  • Facilitates after-school sessions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong commitment to the mission of the organization, environmental sustainability, employee well-being, and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across all organizational levels
  • Associate Degree in Education or strongly related field
  • Minimum three years' experience working with Latine families
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual-Bicultural Spanish/English required
  • High attention to detail, strong time management and excellent organizational skills
  • Proven experience in leading projects and group work, demonstrating the ability to effectively guide teams towards successful project outcomes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience in grant reporting
  • Knowledge of curriculum development, including the design, implementation, and evaluation of program delivery quality
  • Access to reliable transportation

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to have occasional evening and weekend in-person work
  • Ability to travel out of town to attend or facilitate workshops and trainings

SALARY & BENEFITS:

  • Salary range: $54K - $58K depending on qualifications
  • Classification: Full-time, exempt
  • Telework: up to 2 days a week, depending on the department's needs
  • Benefits: health, vision, dental, short-term and long-term disability, 401K pension plan, life insurance, EAP, professional development opportunities, transportation stipend, paid leave of absence, paid holidays (12.5 days annually), sick days (up to 9 days annually), vacation per year (up to 20 days years one through five, up to 25 days after five years), and sabbatical (1 month at 10 years of employment)
