Logistics Flatbed Dispatcher
ADICA Trucking and Logistics, Taylor, MI. 48180
JOB HOURS ARE: 9am - 6pm
Job Duties:
- Oversee utilization of equipment and drivers
- Provide schedule to drivers and dispatchers in timely manner to ensure on time pickup and delivery.
- Update Customer and Websites with load information
- Follow all company guidelines and procedures as set forth by management
- Consistently review loads to ensure on time pickup and delivery
- Assign, dispatch, and finish loads in McLeod as required
- Ordering permits, Cross Border Shippers as needed
- Customer Service
- Communicate with drivers whenever route pickup times, delivery times or any relevant service elements are in question
- Manage assigned Driver Fleet
- Record all deviations from scheduled performance requirements
- Communicate with garage regarding repair issues
- Issue com-checks to drivers for necessary expenses
- Complete thorough and accurate shift change on every shift
- Understand and dispatch according to DOT hours of service regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Telephone Etiquette
- 3 years flatbed experience
- Diplomacy
- Professionalism
- Time Management
- Computer Literacy and proficient on keyboard
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
