JOB SUMMARY
The Manager Development Planning is responsible for providing results driven leadership to the Planning Department. Key areas of accountability include scheduling of materials, generating requisitions, controlling inventory and eliminating parts shortages.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

Pro-actively lead the materials team to continuously improve processes and procedures to ensure availability of materials required for Production

Identify and eliminate root causes of parts shortages

Analyze suggested orders and schedule discrepancies

Resolve MRP related issues and take appropriate corrective actions to prevent similar issues

Manage and ensure timely receipt of materials to support the Production schedule

Provide continual improvement of the Planning and reporting processes including KPI's

Implement the use of the ABCD philosophy in planning for materials to minimize inventory and maximize inventory turns

Manage and supervise the Material Planners, Development Program Planners and Master Scheduler

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.

Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Companys information and products.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
-
Bachelors Degree is required; combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience:
-
5 years of direct experience in Materials Planning and ERP/MRP systems
Skills:
-
Extracting PLM eBOM and conversion to mBOM as input to ERP/MRP system
-
Advance material order procurement ahead of final release eBOM
-
Good oral and written communication skills
Preferred Skills/Experience:

Related work experience in an Engineered-to-Order (ETO) environment

Salary Range Transparency: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually, depending on candidate qualifications
