We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller & Scheduler to support project management, financial oversight, and scheduling operations within our organization. This role requires expertise in cost control, financial management, project scheduling, and risk assessment to ensure accurate budget tracking and project scheduling for various medical device projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, managing project schedules, and ensuring alignment with company and client's goals. This role requires working collaboratively across teams and clients.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller & Scheduler to support project management, financial oversight, and scheduling operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, managing project schedules, and ensuring alignment with company and client's goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management & Cost Control:
- Maintain initial budget performance and status under the guidance of cost control leadership.
- Assist in financial forecasting, change management, and project capitalization.
- Support the implementation of FX planning, cost tracking, and cash flow management.
- Develop and maintain change management scenarios and capitalization forecasts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, ensuring data accuracy.
- Scheduling & Project Controls:
- Assist in developing and managing project schedules using Primavera P6/SAP and Microsoft Project (MSP).
- Create small-scale schedules (100–200-line items) for senior review.
- Update and track project schedules for our clients
- Stay updated with the latest scheduling trends and technologies.
- Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Work closely with vendors to resolve invoicing and procurement issues.
- Gain a deep understanding of procurement processes related to cost control and scheduling.
- Change & Risk Management:
- Maintain change management logs and risk assessment trackers.
- Support the development of cost and schedule risk scenarios.
- Diverse Project Types:
- Execute tasks across a wide range of medical device and engineering projects.
- Adapt to different project scopes, ensuring successful financial and scheduling outcomes.
- Provide expertise across projects to maintain quality and compliance.
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with project managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in project meetings and provide cost and schedule insights.
- Maintain interaction with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Background in project management, finance, or engineering.
- PMP certification is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, government regulations, and the medical device industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Health Administration, or a related field.
- 2-7 years of experience in cost control, project scheduling, or financial management within a regulated industry (medical devices preferred).
- Financial & Cost Control:
- Proficient in budget management, capitalization, and financial risk assessment.
- Experience using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for cost tracking.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for financial decision-making.
- Scheduling & Project Controls:
- Proficient in Primavera P6/SAP and Microsoft Project (MSP) (training available).
- Ability to develop project schedules, track timelines, and analyze scheduling risks.
- General Skills:
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and scheduling tools.
- Experience working in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
