Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our client's team in the construction industry. The Controller will be responsible for preparing financials, creating and posting adjustments, and providing monthly financial reporting over four entities, including WIP (Work in Progress) reporting.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage financial statements and reports.
- Create and post necessary financial adjustments.
- Conduct monthly financial reporting across four entities.
- Perform WIP reporting to assess project progress and financial status.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in the construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Cost Accounting is a must
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
