Job Summary
The purpose of this position is provide students and youth with disabilities the training, opportunities, and services to achieve competitive, integrated employment, as well as live, participate and have a meaningful role in the communities. This is all in partnership with school districts, Vocational Rehabilitation Services & Supported Employment Services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of service transitions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and develop programs that enhance service delivery for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with school districts, community partners, service providers, and families to facilitate effective transitions.
- Implement administrative processes that improve operational efficiency and enhance the quality of services provided.
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development/Special Education preferred. Experience working with adults/children with disabilities required. High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and be capable of being covered under agency insurance.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. Must be 21 as this is a full time driving position.
- Internal Training Required: Staff orientation. Other training requirements include, but not limited to; Medication course, and a variety of Intranet & In-House Training.
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent relationship management skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- A commitment to promoting positive outcomes for individuals receiving services.
This position helps achieve Advance's goals by being a front line staff. As a staff doing direct support, this person will be there every day providing all aspects of support to each individual they work with. This person is the eyes and ears for everyone else within ADVANCE and the first person to advocate for each individual they support.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
