Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in supporting staff and enhancing productivity while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Oversee clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence management.
- Coordinate schedules and manage calendars for team members to optimize time management.
- Track employee hours and maintain time records.
- Generate profit & loss (P&L) reports and job cost reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Assist with estimate writing and project documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and service providers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or similar administrative roles.
- Experience in office management, preferably in construction or a related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and project management software.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of estimating and job costing is a plus.
- Previous experience in training development is an asset.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
