What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Advanced Supplements LLC?
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our growing team at a supplement contract manufacturing company located in Brentwood. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Quickbooks and will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Keep accurate records of financial transactions and produce financial reports as needed
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of budget and forecasting reports
- Assist with month-end closing and year-end audit preparation
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and cost of goods sold
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Quickbooks.
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure
