Advanced Systems Design is seeking a HR/IT Staffing Manager for our client located in Tallahassee, FL.
This position is onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1.
Job Overview:
HR/IT Staffing Manager Task List. The Contractor, through the HR/IT Staffing Manager it provides, shall perform the following tasks as necessary to complete work for the OIT as assigned by the Department’s Contract Manager:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and programs to recruit and select IT staff.
- Manage a variety of recruiting efforts, which may include college and Internet recruitment, and use of recruitment firms.
- Ensure all hiring policies are followed.
- Lead a succession planning process; forecast needs based on changes within the organization (e.g., retirement statistics, planned moves, reorganizations); create and maintain a recruiting plan accordingly.
- Manage the recruitment process, screening process, and the extension of offers.
- Possess a strong understanding of the competitive marketplace.
- Proactively represents IT issues and needs to HR leadership and is active in the HR and IT community to build awareness of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of related experience in HR and/or IT including managing team(s) and project(s).
- Experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies and programs to recruit and select IT staff.
- Experience managing a variety of recruiting efforts, which may include college and Internet recruitment, and use of recruitment firms.
- Ensures all hiring policies are adhered to.
- Experience leading a succession planning process; performing forecasting needs based on changes within the organization (e.g., retirement statistics, planned moves, reorganizations); creating and maintaining a recruiting plan accordingly.
- Experience managing the recruitment process, screening process, and the extension of offers.
- Experience understanding the competitive marketplace.
- Experience proactively representing IT issues and needs to HR leadership and is active in the HR and IT community to build awareness of the organization.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills. (Proficient in English)
Required Education:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education:
- Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
