Job Overview
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team full-time. This person will be responsible for providing on-site install, maintenance and repairs to equipment, at municipal and industrial wastewater processing sites, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting on various equipment at customer sites.
- Participate in install/retrofit projects, installation, startup and repair services Including, but not limited to: Electro/Mechanical Assembly, Rigging, Tube bending, Pipe threading and fitting.
- Onsite inspections and reports
- Use established work instructions and methods to provide installation, startup, and repair.
- Document service activities accurately
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in diverse environments, including manufacturing facilities
Skills
- Electromechanical skills.
- Industrial/Municipal wastewater experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability including piping, tubing and equipment mounting.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency with commonly used electronic test equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to travel to customer sites in the assigned region.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, telephone and customer service.
- Able to read and understand P&ID and isometric drawings to determine tie points and equipment mounting locations.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and systems
- Familiarity with office systems, email, documentation, reporting
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing work environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
