Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Assistant to support our commercial plumbing and HVAC installation team with various tasks. The successful candidate will have a strong background in all standard computer programs (word, Acrobat, Excel, etc.), experience in HVAC/ Plumbing and or Environmental, Health, and Safety a big plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the booking of new projects.
- Issue Purchase orders for the installation departments.
- Reconcile vendor invoices with POs and sending approved invoices to our accounting team.
- Maintain schedules and calendars for multiple projects.
- Supervise Inventory and safety checks of work vehicles.
- Conduct portions of weekly safety meetings, maintain safety documentation and distribute as needed.
- Conduct periodic onsite safety meetings, inspections and evaluations.
- Control vehicle assignments and fuel receipts.
Experience
- Proficient with computers.
- Strong understanding of EHS or the willingness/ ability to learn.
- Some mechanical knowledge with the ability to discern parts, processes and assemblies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
