Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record patients’ medical histories
- Measure and document vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Monitor patients’ health progress and observe for any side effects of medications
- Maintain patient charts detailing fluid intake and output
- Assist patients with essential daily activities such as bathing and eating
- Administer medications, injections, and perform basic medical care tasks including wound management
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in monitoring patient information accurately
- Capability to provide compassionate emotional support to patients
- Current LPN licensure is required
- No prior pediatric or private duty nursing experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided
