Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record patients’ medical histories.
- Measure and document vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Observe and monitor patients’ conditions to identify any changes or side effects of medications.
- Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating and bathing, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Administer prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds, and provide basic medical care.
- Offer emotional and psychological support to patients as needed.
- Strong attention to detail in recording patient information.
- Proficient in measuring and reporting vital signs.
- Excellent observational skills to track patient progress.
- Compassionate and supportive demeanor towards patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a healthcare team.
- Current LPN licensure in Missouri.
- No previous experience in pediatric or private duty nursing is required; a willingness to learn is essential.
