Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patients’ medical histories.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Monitor patients' conditions and note any progress or medication side effects.
- Aid patients in daily activities, including eating and bathing.
- Administer medications, injections, and perform basic medical tasks, including wound care.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients as necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
- Proficient in monitoring health and documenting vital signs.
- Ability to assist with essential daily living activities.
- Familiarity with basic medical procedures.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- No prior experience in pediatric or private duty nursing is required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
